A soccer club based in England has teamed up with ProAmpac, a flexible packaging company, to name the club’s facility ProAmpac Stadium.

The naming rights with Lincoln City Football Club are for 10 years, according to U.S.-based ProAmpac, which operates more than 80 manufacturing facilities worldwide.

“While the company has a global footprint, its commitment to Lincoln City reflects something much closer to home: supporting the communities where its employees live and work,” the company said in a statement.

Founded in 1884, Lincoln City Football Club is one of England’s oldest professional football clubs and has been part of the Lincolnshire community for more than 140 years, ProAmpac says.

“Lincolnshire is home to our employees and operations, making this collaboration a meaningful way to support the community we proudly call home,” Greg Tucker, ProAmpac’s CEO and founder, said in a statement. “Together, we are supporting local initiatives, creating opportunities, and celebrating the pride and resilience that define both ProAmpac and Lincolnshire.”

Club official Bobby Copping says ProAmpac shares the team’s ambition to make a lasting impact across Lincolnshire. Nicknamed The Imps, the club says it champions community engagement.
